[ another year gone! ]

tired........ spent the whole day today doing a photo frame thing (and not doing my research paper). well, not the frame lar, just figuring out which picture goes where and sticking 'em to a proper place. i think it's called a collage? not the easiest thing in the world. you have to consider what sorta theme you're going with (babies, teenagers, now), make sure there's enough of everybody (just to be fair), having the right size of pictures to put... it's a tough but fun job =)

ok. only 3 (or so) days left.... well, i can't wait for it to be over and start a new year. a fresh start, everything is gonna be different & i'm gonna be a new person!!!!! >_<

yeah, we'll just see how far that goes.

was gonna write a long post on what a screwed up year i had (or something like that) this year... but then i lost my anger to bother and decided to go with this instead. a 2003 survey. it's quite good actually, since you it makes you think about how the year has passed and what good/bad stuffs you experienced. usually i'd just forget what i did the entire year, but that's what blogs, journals, real-diaries-which-you-write-in-with-a-pen are for. so that you don't forget.

overall this year hasn't been much of an earth shattering experience where i gained much (except for weight that is). i think last year was much better. more stuffs i learned. oh well, we can't have it all can we. next year would definitely be something new. no more college life (soon), i get to work (and would most probably be complaining how i wish i was back at college where life was more relaxed) and earn my own money.

for next year, i have come up with a few resolutions which god willing (or my will power willing) i get to accomplish.

1. lose weight (i think i shouldn't even bother putting it here since it's always on the top of my list and just make it permanent. like "hey, you... what you doing ligering about? into my list... pronto! come 31st Dec every year, just make your way to #1")

2. finish fics. "get some bloody inspiration woman!!!" (err.. i was talking to myself)

3. read more. (i think this was my problem this year. i didn't read much, didn't know enough, hence the muses had no juice)

4. words to be removed from vocab/one's self/system --
procrastinate, procrastinating, procrastination, pro, cras, ti, nate, lazy, pig, nevermind-lar, later-lar, last-minute, gay, ghae, fag, sness... actually, i think i'll keep sness. (don't ask what "sness" is, too long a story to tell)

5. learn a language. (no points for guessing which one)

6. have a life! (understatement of the century)

i don't have to be nicer, i'm nice enough. at least i got one resolution down... lol! i don't have to use less foul language, i'm a good girl. that should about just cover it =)

and now for something a little more fun!

i'm so lazy these days to blog. sure, i do have things to blog... events n all, but just lazy. hopefully i get a flow going soon.

so what have i been up to since the cosplay event, one wonders. well, it was back to college of course. yes!! damnit some ppl are still attending classes while most of the rest of this country is on holiday ;_; however, i shall fret not. my 'holiday' begins at 10am this wednesday... i say 'holiday' because it isn't considered one if you have to finish 1 research paper & two other assignments come january.

anyways... after CF, i fell sick. just the usual cough n cold crap. gives me an excuse not to go to the gym! hehe. monday til wednesday i was rushing (last minute is kinda my style you see) my project for another subject. really last minute. i'm gonna be so dead. after my results which were like crap the last semester, and i pull off another stunt like that, i can only... i can't even say pray or hope anymore!! just.... -__-

after wednesday i bummed.. right til the end of weekend, except i had a guitar performance on sunday. the performace... let's just say was my worst. first of all, it was at pwtc.. some home owners campaign. bleh. then there were other performers before us, all were not that impressive like the one we had last year at bsc. last year i did a duet with my brother, this time the two of us played two songs solo.

so just when it was our turn, they had to have this dumb lucky draw which was just pissing me off because of 25 ppl they called to collect their prize, only 3 were there. well, they were only giving out 3 prizes so.. but still. then my brother went on stage and he only played 1 song. we couldnt' be bothered lar seriously. my guitar teacher wasn't there so besides him and the two of us.. no one else knew what we were gonna be playing and how long.

so i took the opportunity to skip the second half of 'romance de amor' since i made a huge mistake by starting fast... the second part was too difficult to play at that speed so i scrapped it out. then the second piece was just.... horrific! i made so many mistakes, right up to the end. i didn't bother smiling at the audience or bowing thank you after playing. just belah only lar.. didn't care at that point.

we left immediately after playing to go check out the lotr carnival at times square. it was alright... although there were a lot of ppl, it didn't feel so bad because the place is big. i guess that was the point. met a friend of mine who was dressed up as one of the lotr characters. i think it was aragorn, hard to say. at first i wasn't sure if it was him, sorta looked different, esp with some tan on his face. the weird thing was they asked caucasian guys to cosplay and there they go put a darker tan on his face. go figure! had a small chat then went to look for food.

it was hell as usual. every place was taken. after going up and down and trying to check out the food court which is not existing at the moment, we settled at some swedish cafe-like place and i had the worst pasta. so bland there wasn't much taste. their chocolate cake however was to die for. i did get a good view of the really cool rollercoaster that passed by every few minutes as well :)

that was yesteday. lol! today was biasa lar... back to college. urgh.. usually i'd end up talking about RO with my two other friends. stuffs like that. won't be playing tonight. i've got really strict curfew these days. pc to be off by midnight. ;_; no fair!

okies, 20 minutes left. off to read plnunn's post weiss kreuz gluhen story. mmmmm~~~ XD XD

[ fun. tiring. tiring fun! ]

i don't think i'll be blogging the entire event... you know me, always takes a few days later to do so. i just feel really happy to have cosplayed for the first time, had lotsa fun, inspite the intense heat, met with even more forum-ers and glad to know a get backer fellow won!! go get backers!!! sadly there was only one character there from the anime, which is real sad since i was hoping there was more otherwise i would've cosplayed midou instead... well, two akabanes was indeed fun.

homura's cloak was awsome! seighart's white coat was pretty cool as well!! there were a few warriors... just wow. two people from sakura taisen.. their costumes were just..... no words can describe lar just that you know there was A LOT of effort put into it.

got me self some beautiful posters.. mmmm~~ i showed them to my parents and they were like "there are such artists in this country O_o ?" that obviously means a good thing. i'm kicking myself for not getting hooli's doujinshi (though i got a few other things) and fenix's doujinshi as well. i'm happy i managed to snag jac'kee's chibi final fantasy poster in time before it sold out. whoohoo! =)

well would you look at that... i'm practically blogging the event :) oh well... pics as usual will be up later than sooner. duh! i have to do my project work now -_____- tmr got meeting and i haven't done my part yet. die lar!

my brother said i looked like a man with the costume ^^;;; which reminds me.. there were some Dir en Grey cosplayers who were guys... dressed up well, as they would lar... that was really cool. at first i thought they were girls, but when i saw their flat chests... heh, you get the picture.. and you'll be seeing some of those too. i got a whold bunch of pics of the entire group.

hooli looked absolutely beautiful!!! really... she did!! :) if i was a guy, i'll be all over her.

what irritated me most (ie, my costume) was my hair. well, it was spose to be a bit spikey and all over my face... it was a dissaster since it's so long.. just made it all the more hotter for me than it already was at the event! and then there was the shoes. should've worn the boots. hope i can still walkt tomorrow!

ahh... what a fun event :) i'm more than happy with the whole thing, and how it turned out. congrats to all successful cosplayers, forum-ers who turned... t'was great to meet y'all. and great work to those who had booths!

[ holiday report ]

ack! blogger is back ^^;; and i thought it was down just now. well, here it is. my 'holiday'.

it all began on wednesday (26th Nov '03). with only 3 1/2 hours sleep (i end up having barely any sleep on the nights before a journey because, well.. what else? i'm packing at the last minute!!) i was awakened by the sunshine and bird's chirping -- wait a minute!! it's only 6 o'clock damnit!! with aches all over, i went to have a shower. i take roughly an hour each time i wash & blow dry my hair. it is a bloody pain otherwise i'd enjoy showers. i think i should just shut up with the side comments otherwise this entry will never end!

and so, i had 3 bags with me. what? 3 bags for only 5 days??? ^^;; well, actually, just one of them (the really stuffed one god knows how the bag can stay close) was my clothes. the other 2 was a bag of books & my laptop. did i open the bag with books? of course not. i was on holiday. it was just to make me feel less guilty ^^;;

we left at about 9.30am, all 5 of us packed in my dad's car and started as usual with quarrel at the back. my brothers sometimes remind me of gojyo & goku. but these days it isn't so bad because we're all a little grown. just a little. came to the highway, at the toll gate, and found out one of the roads there was closed due to a rockfall. luckily it wasn't the one leading to penang. there wasn't that many cars on the road, since everyone was probably still 'raya-ing' and having open house to balik kampung. happily prepared with all my stuffs in the car (book? mag? sunglasses? sweets? check. i knew i forgot something. a pillow!) we officialy started our 3 1/2 hour journey to our destination (without any stops mind you. we were very obedient children... we wanted to be at the beach as soon as possible :p)

after checking in the hotel at about 2pm, we unpacked some stuffs and the boys (my brothers, cousin and his dad -- they slept in one room and yessss... i slept with my parents. sound kinda sad but... whatever!) jumped in the pool. the hotel is by the beach of course, and it had great facilities. ie, pool, pool games, table tennis. so first day i watched them play games with the other hotel residents, skin sun protected of course -- didn't want my fair skin to be burnt!! ergh, that was a joke! it looked like fun, water volleyball.. and after having wonderful views of people in all sizes parading in their swimwear, i thought i might just join them. yesh, i'm swimsuit-shy!

later in the night we went over to my aunt's place. one of my dad's sisters lives in penang and normally we'd stay over at her place but since the occasion of going there in the first place was because of a party in a hotel just 5 minutes away from the one we were staying at, we decided for once to take advantage of staying by the beach (yay!). today (wednesday) was the actual wedding anniversary of my aunt & uncle so we went over to thier house and had a small time dinner. 25 years, so they were making a big do on saturday. or rather, my cousin sister was organizing the whole thing and i must say she deserves more than just acknowledgement for a successful party thrown. most of them (excluding the kids of course) had a bit too much of champagne to drink.. haha! some of them were doing rather unusual things that night. heh!

the next day we woke up early for breakfast. free breakfast which comes with the 2 rooms (for 2 adults each) the 4 of us "kids" had the breakfast and the parents later on strolled over to the hawker stalls accross the hotel to have theirs. waited for the food to go down, strolled along the beach watching people parasailing by, the boys then eagerly jumped into the pool again! they wanted to join the water polo game at 12pm and then suddenly i had the urge to wanna swim. yeah, so went to get a swimming suit at a nearby shop and joined them later at 3 for the water volleyball.

never played water volleyball before, so it was quite fun, except i kept going underwater even though the pool was only 5 feet deep. my team lost, but was funny since we had people from india & australia join us and everyone was critizing everyone else whenever someone made a really dumb mistake. we each had our 'moments' giving a few good shots every now and then. after the game i went to have a bath and found out that that day was the last time i was gonna enter the pool when we were there. curse us for being girls sometimes -____- well, i should be lucky enough to have swam cause the last time i touched any chlorine-filled water was some 3 years ago.

by the time we'd come out of the pool and showered (taking turns of course) it was time to go for a... pre-wedding thingy. the trip was for 2 reasons, the wedding and also the party. nice timing, but bad also because of the unpredictable rain. there'll be scorching hot sun in the afternoon and thunderstorms in the evening. go figure! stupid weather... so we went to the bride's house, i didn't know them but my dad & his sisters knew so... just tag along. it was boring of course, and you know what amazes me each time we have a family gathering (or when my dad's side of the family is together) is that they can gossip about people and all sorts of stuff i couldn't be bothered with from dusk to dawn. where do they get their stories from, i wonder. if someone asks me for gossip i'd be... "uhhh, ahh, dunno?!"

the next day (friday already!) was the same routine. breakfast, pool, water polo, table tennis, water volleyball. yesh, just can't live without the water :p while the guys were in the water and having fun, my parents & i had to check out and check in to that hotel which was 5 minutes walk away. unfortunately it had to start pouring!! so we got drenched while taking the bags out from the car in the 2nd hotel. here's where the party is to take place. they figured since everyone would be too drunk to drive back to their homes, they might as well stay at the same hotel they had the party at.

after checking in n stuff, we had to get ready for the wedding. yep, the first one was just... like a thing where the ladies will gather and sing n stuff. don't ask me why, i think all these can be done without. i guess it's like a bridal shower. sort of. argh, whatever. so the next day was the actual ceremony. went to another hotel, closer to the city this time. it was pretty grand, the usual wedding. the only people paying attention are the relatives, close friends and people who were given tasks. then dinner came and the end? nope, my relatives n family decided to go to a pub.

blurgh! dressed in what was meant for a wedding and going to a pub is a definite NO NO! but did i have a choice? NO NO! it wasn't so fun because everyone else was drinking and you, being considered a "kid" even though you've passed the legal age just sucked and was just... whatever. they tried to offer me beer, but yucks! beer is not my drink.

saturday came, most of us was staying at the hotel so, we all met for breakfast then went out and around for a while. walking by the beach, checking out the shops nearby. got myself a really soft & nice batik looking shawl and some X calenders. i don't follow the anime but they looked nice, and the only other ones they had were slam dunk and i think it was chobits. can't recall. it surprised me that they actually had those on display so, decided to get some lar.

evening came, everything was set up in the garden. it looked really nice, the area but just before it could start, the rain came. the whole day had been gloomy and just had to rain then. but fortunately there was place for the table in a shaded area and the party started. the theme was beach so we had almost everyone in red/orange/yellow colors. i just wore something plain. standing out in a.. well, already very loud crowd is just not me.

the dinner was nice, songs we okay (though i pity the other hotel residents). almost had to go up and play a song dedicated to my uncle & aunt. very impromptu and what i hate most about performing is when you have a crowd who aren't willing to spend just a few minutes to listen to you because it's not their sort of song. i was quite reluctant to play, choice of music was Scarborough Fair, and i was suppose to duo with this other guy.. when we were trying to begin (it's not an easy song to perform if you've never practiced before with other people so it wasn't easy to co-ordinate) no one was listening, i was ticked at that as i have faced this situation and it's just not worth it.. so in the end i just didn't play. giving reasons that people would just end up falling asleep, which could be true since the crowd isn't the sort who'd appreciate such songs. ergh!

i went to sleep by midnight, was tired and it was getting really boring. it's always like that whenever there's a family reunion. my brothers, my cousins (dad's brother's children) and me will always be left out, sitting at one corner.. everyone else just couldn't be bothered about us, as we couldn't be bothered about them. well, i guess it's our fault as well, but i think that it's just too much effort to be a hypocrite when it's so obvious they're not really interested in our company. when i say they, i refer to my other cousins (dad's sisters' children). they're older than us and think they're too good for us.

sometimes in front of us they'll be making plans to go places and then not invite us. it's very disheartening since one of my aunt's daughters is my age and she's always involved with the rest of my cousins and if i don't follow what they do, that aunt of mine will purposely say in front of my dad, "why aren't you following them? you should mix around more" and other shit like that.

urgh... some families deserve to rot in hell. well, that's another story! =)

on sunday we had to leave already. said our goodbyes, checked out at 1.30pm and headed home. ahh... home sweet home! by the time we reached was 7pm. that's because at some points it was bumper to bumper on the frikin' highway. don't believe me? i have pictures to prove it. lol! just lazy at the moment to download them to the computer.

and so that was my supposed holiday. it was alright, in general. if minus my other relatives, it would've been just nice.

have collected my coat. yep, i now have the full atire for CF. only thing left is the bloody sword. i think i may have to send it to a hardware shop and get it cut. otherwise it's gonna take me a long time to do it. the knives are done, just need to wrap them in some foil... haha!

fenix i think it's too soft so, i shall not test it on you. fraid it may turn lembik and won't look like Akabane's knives no more! oh yes, just remembered. i need to straighten my hair too. i wonder if i'll actually end up doing it or not. just a few more days to go!
done... edited to the way it used to be... *grumbles* now i have to do a new layout.. and just when i thought, "wow, fr once i have something just in time for the new month". lol! :p

updates... later lar. still tired. and i miss RO, so.. am gonna play a bit.

Monday, December 01, 2003

*wipes forehead*

phew.. thanks fenix! i wouldn't have wanted to cause any problems. luckily you told me :)

this is the older, OLDER version.... ergh. am at college so will have to change it later! ^^;;;
don't bother asking where i had the time to do this. i was bored one of those days in penang, where in which it was the only time i did take out my laptop... and decided to use this wonderful wallpaper provided by Schlachthaus NINE for the layout. nice? recognize who that is? lol! =)

it just occured to me that it's a new month.. just in time for a new layout! hahaha~~ cf in just 6 days!!! XD XD

and enervate, errm... the avatars, which i also did, were mostly for the lj. maybe if it looks nice enuf, i'll use it for the forum as well :p

updated the wild adapter song. yep, those are the last three files so... make sure they (including the previous 4 i assumed you already downloaded) are in the same location, run the Splitter program and merge. it's that simple :) you'll end up with a zip file so you'd obviously need to unzip it first before you play it lar! and i hope y'all have named the files properly. these three should be (respectively):

1. RLS_WA.zip.SPL
2. RLS_WA.zip.5
3. RLS_WA.zip.6

okies.. now must go sleep... have college tmr! :~(

[ i'm off to penang XD ]

it's already been two days of the holidays.. ahh, that just sucks because it hasn't been much of a holiday. had two project meetings for two different subjects ...on two different days ^^;;

today was extra tiring since with only less than 6 hrs of sleep -_- i had to lug my laptop all around town for no reason. well, actually there was, but we'd used it for just a bit. and lucky us there was wifi in that area.

tomorrow however, my family's going up north for a 'sorta' holiday. i hope it turns out good. ahh~~ the beach! 4 blissful days at the beach XD XD

my aunt & uncle are celebrating their 25th anniversary this saturday. don't see what's the big idea but well.. it has been a while since anyone had a party and the beach is always fun! the best part is... we don't have to dress up! *yay*

i hate dressing up. it's bad already that i don't wear dresses and uhh.... skirts -___- but when you see your relatives (whom you coincidentally hate), they will start their usual nonsense and comment on how you should be more like this & like that. urgh!

did i mention how much i loved the beach yet? =D

arghh.. 5 days without my precious computer & broadband *sniff*. how will i ever survive!! i'm just hoping to get back some inspiration. i've been in a muse-rut (if there's such a thing) for a long time... and *looks at certain unfinished fic* i just don't know how to continue -_-;;

maybe because i just don't care anymore.... arghh.. whatever.. that story is for another day! goodbye my squishies... don't miss me =)

*Planet Funk's Chase the sun tone rings* Wakes up suddenly and looks at the time, in that same instant calculate that there's been enough sleep for the night.

Looks at the phone and thinks 'Nalini? Oh must be her mom'. Answers phone, "Hello?".
In cheery voice, "Hi. How are you? This is Nalini's mom."
"Hi aunty, I'm fine and you?"
"I'm good too. I wanted to tell you that I have something for you. You see, Nalini passed something for you through her cousin and I thought I better give it to you before I go to Penang."
"Oh, you're also going to Penang? Haha..."
"You also going ah? Hehe.. so is it okay if I came by in about 20-30 minutes?"
"Yes sure aunty.. it's not a problem."
"Okay, see you then!"
"Bye!"

Get's up from bed and heads for the shower. Just when finished showering, there's a bang on the room door. "What?"
"There's someone here for you! Outside."
"Here already?" Looks at clock then thinks, 'But it's not even 15 minutes'. Quickly jumps into some clothes and rushes to meet the guest.
About to enter house by house owner but stops midway and says, "Hi!"
"Hi!"
Something said too quickly which couldn't be remembered and suddenly walking towards the car. "The present is in the car."
Wonders, 'Is it really that big that I'll have to carry it out of the car?' "So where is Nalini coming back?"
"Not sure yet lar... she still has a few things to do there."
"Yeah, I guess since she's moving and all--"
Upon reaching the car a head pops up from hiding. It was Nalini!

*Insert screams [not exactly screaming] of surprises and oh-my-gods here*

5 minute catch up and see you laters.

girl, that was some shock you gave me =p and i'm glad you are back! a bit bad timing since i'm gonna be very busy the next 2 days and then off to penang til sunday! so many things to do!! how to cram everything at the same time! =p

cf, you, projects, penang trip, you, projects, presentations, you... lol! =)

discover what candy you are @ quiz me.

mm... gummi bears XD

on to other things. it has been decided that we're going to penang this wednesday. that means i gotta finish one project by monday and another as soon as i come back! while everyone else i holidaying, i still have college.. -__-. well, at least i got 1 week off. and i tell you, so far that's the longest ever holiday i've had from college. urgh.. now i know why i just don't wanna do anymore work. it's because i'm in need of a carefree, worry-free holiday! let's just hope this trip to penang works out well.

why am i going to penang? family/relatives party. my aunt's 25th (silver) anniversary. so they're having a big do by the beach. it's a good thing since i like beaches. the only problem is that since we're going 3 days in advance to the actual event (the party is on saturday) i was hoping we stayed at golden sands or at least by the beach.. but nooooooooo~~ some idiot aunts of mine wanna stay at some crappy apartment so far away from the beach (near to my aunt in penang's house). confused? well my dad has 3 sisters. one in penang, and two in kl. and one more brother also in kl. so my uncle had already made bookings for 2 rooms at golden sands and we (everyone in my family except my dad) thought, 'hey this would be fun! at least for once we WOULD enjoy our trip in penang. because everytime we went there we always, i mean NEVER ONCE, not stayed at my aunt's place. which is so bloody boring!!!

and here these morons (referring to my two aunts in kl) wanna stay at that aparments. urgh! and it seems there's some wedding going on at the same time, 1 or 2 days earlier to the party, and they're planning to go help. now if we stayed in those apartments with them, means we'd be dragged to go HELP!!! what the hell man.. it's a holiday. i didn't plan to go do work on a holiday. and heck, i'm in need of a holiday!!

dumb ass ppl. oh yeah, and you know what's even dumber?? my dad brains. he can't.. urgh! he says he wants to go to penang n all.. you know... because it's where he's from and everytime we go we end up staying at my aunt's place and going to either sunshine square or bukit jambul club. what kinda trip is that? what's the point of going in the first place then?? we wanna enjoy the frikin' beach lar!!

the only hope is now for my uncle to persuade my dad to stay at the hotel. at least then my cousins would be there to. so much more fun, so much more things to do! -_____-

some ppl.... are just plain spoilers!

[ -_________________- ]

have you ever had a dream come true? or woke up from one, then having a sinking feeling after that? like maybe someone was trying to tell or warn you about something...

i went to college today at 8.30am. we had an early class then had a 3 1/2 hour break. in that 3 hours or so we, my course mates and i, were "reading" our notes because we had a test after that. a test which contributes 50% to our incourse... and this is an incourse subject after all [that means no exam at the end] so quite important.

anyways... while we were at the syndicate room [place where students 'hang' out & have 'meetings'] another two of our course mates come in and ask whether we'd checked our results. results for our exams the last semester and we were so unprepared to 'receive' marks at that moment. but since one of my friends had her laptop with her [and was online] we decided to check... one by one.

to my utter disappointment.. i only got a 6 and 7. that means 3rd class for a crappy subject which we're planning to burn the lecturer's house for and another 2nd lower for one which i'd expected much higher for. at leasta freakin' 2nd upper lar!!!

now the dreams of even getting a 2nd class upper for my degree seems very difficult. i have to score at least 12s for another 7 subjects [four of which was my fyp and there's nothing i can do about that] and another 3 which i'm doing now. can't quite guess what i'd get for fyp.... so i have to aim for 14s. that's gonna be such a miracle. considering we'd just done our test [50% of total marks] for one subjects. that leaves two more. one out of THAT two is... just.. plain...

._.

and so in the dream we were like getting our results n all.. but this one was actually the entire thing. the whole degree itself. and when i went to get mine.. the guy said i'd an overall of 2nd lower. a course mate of mine who was in that same dream got 1st class. quite a disappointing feeling it was when i woke up... but i didn't let it get to me of course. it was simply just a fucked up dream.

....or maybe it was just a coincidence.

okay... tried cutting the wood but it was quite difficult. i need to buy a bigger saw. the one i'm using is small and will take ages to cut since my sword is suppose to be really long! urgh.. ope it turns out alright. because at the moment what i know is akabane's sword is slim, really long and red. unless i'm wrong! ^^;;

and....... pics of my hair before & midst. there'll be an "after" one when i straighten it. yep, don't be deceived by midst picture because my hair is not straight as yet. after i woke up this morning, it's gone back to being the crap that it is!

Friday, November 07, 2003

just cut my hair..... 4 inches shorter. i was thinking of more til my shoulders but the hairdresser was like because my is curly/wavy, it would just stick out if it's short... so better leave it longer. well, guess akabane will just have to do with slightly longer-than-normal hair -_-;;

took some pics too.... lol! got my brother to take 'em and there's one really freaky one. was "posing" and the eye bit looked really weird. he couldn't stop laughing! since the hairdresser blew my hair straight.. it's all nice now... until tmr that is so.. better take pic quick before it turns ugly again. will think about posting it up.. lol! i also took one [very weird one] before i went to cut it. it's the longest i'd ever kept so... want to remember the length :p

other than that... i didn't do much but the day flew by quite quickly. watching matrix tmr!!! well, more than 24hrs away lar. still gotta wait.

starting my guitar classes again tmr. damn rusty!! i tried playing the piano and it was a DISASTER! just opening the lid, dust was all over.. ended up sneezing. cleaned it a bit, it's still dirty though.. need to clean it again soon! and the piano... gosh so out of tune!!! and the funniest part was... after i started playing, my neighbour accross my road started playing too. for months before that i'd not heard anyone on my street play the piano and then when i do... suddenly some people had an urge to play too. what a joke! :)

i can't remember the songs i used to play. as i open the books i couldn't even remember where the notes were!!! i mostly played from memory.. you know like how once you get a flow of a song you've played many times before, you sort of remember where the fingering goes next. i think out of all the songs i played today, chopsticks was the most successful!! :p

[ finally!! ]

i think i'm starting to go back to normal.... what???? dun look at me like that!

i actually accomplished a lot today. first, sign up & start at a gym. long over due!!! after that went to mid valley to buy matrix tickets. wanted to watch on friday night but all the good seats are taken so, got saturday. brothers are going today though :)

hmm.... that means... i get the pc tonight!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha!! can play RO some more!!! :p

*ahem*

what else.. yeah went to see the tailor, she said i can get my coat by the 28th of this month. i also bought the wood n stuffs to make the sword today. was gonna clear up my room too... y'know, like do everything i can today itself but decided i'd be too tired and might not finish clearing up in the midst.

this is what it looks like now!! haha.... will post an "after" pic when i do get around to doing it. hmm.... have to ask my mom now whether we're still on for klcc.

yes, you know what that means.... WA03!!!!! XD XD

[ final year project ]

it's done! it's done...

*dances a jiggly jig* <-- assuming that made sense

i did my presentation all... surprisingly i wasn't nervous. well, i didn't even feel queasy [which i normally do] but i guess this time i didn't. i knew i was repeating myself a thousand times while presenting... so much so i noticed my accessor's bored look [a yawn of hers openly shown]. hehe... but in the end, everything went smoothly, she didn't ask me much.. just barely and even when she did i managed to answer her.

did the system demo, everything worked.. and then i was asked to leave the room for a while [this was after say 35 minutes of my presentation]. i was thinking *hum hum hum hum hum*. they spoke for barely a few minutes and then she comes out and says "thank you & good job". i was like 'phew'.

went to see my supervisor [whom i just wanna thank over & over again because he'd helped me out on one part when i guess what i was trying to explain to the accessor but she wasn't quite getting it] and he told me that i passed and that i can get high marks for my fyp!!!! XD XD XD XD

well, i dun feel anything as yet lar. no joy whatsoever. no feeling of relief either. i was suppose to be bouncing around college damnit! oh well... it's over. finally! and i've passed.

matrix 3 coming out on thursday!!! wheeee~~~ what a nice way to celebrate. most probs be watching it with a friend of mine on friday. yep... should be fun. well of course it will!!!!!!!! i've only been waiting for it since matrix 1. haha!!

another good news would be that i can finally also get my coat done.

*dreams of akabane silently for a few moments* sigh...

will be getting the cloth and then seeing that tailor again. after that....... hmm... maybe i'll go to klcc and COLLECT WILD ADAPTER VOL 3 from kino :O)

la la la la la la.... la la la la la *sings in smurfs tune*

now, to try installing RO [for the last time] with my new graphics card ^^

Sunday, November 02, 2003

wheeeee wheeee~~

kino called me today and told me my order for WA vol 3 has arrived!!!! wheeeee~~~

btw, when those of you who wanted the WA song and who have downloaded it [see links], pls lemme know so that i can upload the other ones ^^

now, to prepare for my fyp presentation this tuesday! yep, it's out and panic has not stricken me yet! :O)

[ much ado about blogging ]

Thursday:
went to town today. and quite a tiring day it was... my legs were hurting like hell at night.

it's interesting too because i sorta had a self tour of the place. lol! anyways, this is how it began. first took the monorail from brickfields, almost got lost when i stopped at the imbi station because all of a sudden, times square is in front of me O_o. after asking for directions from a lady working at starbucks, which was pretty useless, i managed to find my way to low yatt. as i was about to reach there, the sole of my shoe came out, even after i'd glued it back before leaving the house!! stupid good-for-nothing glue! gave a call to my friend, whom i met there, and went to search for a proper adhesive.

i first tried elephant glue [bonds in 10 seconds it seems] but came off just as we were about to go up [that's where the main stuffs are :p]. so went back to the same shop and found a glue especially for shoes [why didn't i see that before?]. finally in the end it stuck, and is still in usable order. or else i'll have to either buy a new pair of boots for cf or use the higher heeled ones [which i don't intend to since i'll probably be wearing it for hours!!].

so, spent about 2 hours there, roaming around, looking at the stuffs each shop had, surveying their prices.. and in the end bought a new graphics card [msi g4 64mb], a vcd [vampire journals], two dvds [dances with wolves & akira].. cdrs [duh!], a mouse [logitech], two mp3 cds [ayumi hamasaki collection & enigma] and 1 software cd [windows xp] :)

once done there, had lunch at this "japanese noodles" place, went to federal hotel [that's where my friend was staying. well, actually her mom was having some seminar there so she decided to bunk in the hotel with her and take the opportunity to see town. free also what :p] dropped off the things she bought and then walked to times square. the place was quite dead.. barely any shops were open. we went there just to check out with our own eyes what the hype was all about.

was trying to find the theme park, but no signage again [what lar these ppl!!] and as we were about to leave two foreigners asked us if we knew where it was -_-". should've told them "follow the screams, and you'll find it" but of course all good answers come to us way after the perfect moment. but then again, they would've looked at us funny and go "huh?". passed by some oogling morons, who needs to wash their brains with chlorox, and bid my friend a good day. haha!

i decided to go to klcc to meet my brother. his college is near klcc and he finished class so thought i'd meet him there & then go back. so the plan was to take the monorail, stop at bukit nanas, then take the light transit rail [lrt] from the dang wangi station [an interchange] but after i got down from the monorail i couldn't find the damn station... very very bad signage!!! actually, i don't think there was any! so i started walking...

where i got down from the monorail was the road where hard rock is located. so i walked all the way from hard rock to klcc. gah!!! passed by the "happening" place [not so happening of course at 4pm], they were putting up halloween decorations n stuff. it was so hot!! fortunately i had some water left with me -_-'' and again, fortunate for me i wasn't the only one walking on that road towards klcc. i was trying to figure out how to cross the main road, but as i came closer i found there was a more suitable way to enter klcc.

met my brother there, went to the kino to check if anything was new in, found out zero sum is out today [saturday], then took the lrt home... only to know that my mom couldn't pick us up from the station, so we took the bus which stopped at the bottom of our road and had to walk up..... again!! so, that's why my legs are aching :p a lot of walking ^^

Present day:
surprisingly my legs were fine the next day. hehe... as for today, did a number of things some people would be proud of and perhaps weirded out too. before going to the tailor... yes, i did say TAILOR!! XD XD

as i was saying... before going to the tailor, we had to transfer a queen sized mattress from our house to my grandmother's house. now, with only equipped with a car, how do you suppose we do that? with the added advantage that my grandmother literally lives down my road [down the road and across the junction :p] we decided to place the mattress on the hood of the car.

-_-;;;;

you heard me right. the hood of the car!! so 4 of us [including driver] held on to the handles [fortunately placed on the sides of the bed] from the inside of the car through the windows. i wanted to take a picture but the battery of my digicam died. arghh!! otherwise i would've posted the pic here for all to see :p. it was hillarious, and embarassing too of course! had a few ppl looking at us from their cars and laughing. it was even funnier when we were at the junction [to cross the road] a car slowed down and you can see these big grins on their faces ^^;;; they're probably still thinking about it [as my friend had said].

and later went to the tailor. said she can do the coat in 3 weeks [which is super!] and quoted me rm150 without cloth & linen.

*sees monnies flying out of window* ^$$$^

will be buying the cloth next week and see her again on tuesday. XD XD

-_-;;;

today is the begining of a very not good day. just went to drop my brother off at hartamas and guess what happened on my way back. got caught by police for speeding ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

it was quite weird lar. they've never had a police check at that particular place before, so i was happily speeding away. grr... so yeah, as we slowed down into a queue, i knew i was gonna be asked to pull at the side and sure enuf. then one guy, who seemed nice, came to my car.. i got my wallet ready thinking he was gonna ask me for my IC but instead a bribe haha..!! it happened so fast i didn't even know what was going on. first he's like mana pergi cepat sangat la? halaju 80km/j sahaja. [where you going to la? the speed limit is only at 80km/h]. i was going at 110km/h -_-"""

then so he was like so how? he puts his hand into the car.. lol! and was like hessitating a bit. i didn't know what to do? he's like berapa? [how much?] and i was like huh?? so i said RM50 can? and he said okay. gave it to him and ciaoed. it all happened so fast O_o

yes, if there's one thing i'll ever get stopped by police for it would be for speeding.

they seem so free these days... no wonder they're out to collect monnies!! -_-
[ music feature ]

okay, i'm lazy to find out where i got the song. so i've decided to upload it and share it with those of you who want it. i've split the file so that it's smaller to download. there's 6 parts of the file [roughly 500kb per file] and i'll upload 2 at a time. you will need the Splitter to join back the file. but of course only merge them when you have all 6 files!!

enjoy!

*dun forget to rename them as RSL_WA_01.zip.1 and RSL_WA_01.zip.2 before when you save them, because the .1 & .2 disappears.

[ with age comes wisdom ]

yeah right. that's so full of shit. my wisdom tooth has been causing me pain the whole day today. and before this it was an obediant lil' tooth. suddenly it' just had to grow over the weekend and start poking my inner cheek/gums. urgh... and just because of that, i'm having a one-sided soar throat. how dumb is that???

can't chew my food & enjoy it. might as well be eating porridge & drinking soup for lunch & dinner >_<

wish i had a tube so that my saliva can dribble throught it into a bowl.... lol! friggin' hurts just swallow saliva!!!!! *goes to suck on a smint*

just hope i don't come down with a fever or what. usually tooth aches does that!! hope my fyp presentation ain't the same time when i do get myself around to seeing a dentist. like that i'll be having one swelled up cheek trying my best to speak and convince my supervisor & accessor not to laugh -_-

why must we have such unnecessary parts in our body? appendix, wisdom teeth, tonsils... all just pains in the... well, their respective areas :þ

wanted to blog yesterday but got lazy. yesh, lazy bum as usual! went to feed cows. lol!! Mmmmm.... the smell of dung! it's actually quite nice. hehehe... and the cows were so obediant. just feed them some bananas lar.. that's about it. then at one time one of the cows was pee-ing and someone cupped a handful of piss and sprinkled on some people. hahaha!!! lucky i wasn't one of them!

i think i should go sleep... -_-# starting to get headache. oh and before i leave... wild adapter fans should get this song: reiuta love song. it's not bad.. quite nice :)

[ the joys of reformatting! ]

yes... the time has come once again to reformat and delete certain junk which not needed anymore... forever!! mwahahahahaha!!!

ergh...my fingers are still raw from plugging, un-plugging, plugging again the pwer cables and hard discs, and cd-roms and.... network card!! gah...!! almost got a few cuts, but luckily it was just skin. spent 2 hours just trying to connect my friend's hdd so that i can back up my current stuffs there and then reformat. easier than wasting time backing them up into cdrws. that is such a pain since stupid me went and bought a 2x cdrw last time... yes, it was my first so obviously i blindly bought it!!!

can't wait to reformat so that i can install SIMS!!!!! yay!! hahahaa... i got another friend of mine to burn for me unleash & the newest expansion pack -- makin' magic. sounds interesting yeah! :p

i could've started playing much earlier but i didn't have the main sims cd. sheesh...!! asked her to burn a copy of livin' large & the sims as well. but i'm going to low yatt next week so... i'll just get the rest of the expansion packs from there lar.

sims is so addictive!! lol! well, i can afford to play now lar... though i've been neglecting a certain assingment which i know my members are so gonna kill me since i didn't do anything yet. oh, must go send example project... before i forget, again! o_o;;

got meself an lj account too.... *yay*. all thanks to a very kind soul. well, why would someone need so many online diaries uh??? haha... kinda redundant but i'm planning to use the lj to join the communities n stuff. treat it like a forum lar.. join get backers, ermm.... see what else there is XD!

got fenix & hooli into my stalk list already. nyah ah ah!

okay, good bye short lived C drive. hahaha... hopefully i don't forget to not backup something else this time.
[ celebration of lights ]

wow.. has it been 5 days since i last blogged? hehe... nothing much to say except i think i need to go on a diet >_<. what with diwali n all at the moment... gah... it's a non-stop eating fest!!! well, it's inevitable i guess.. happens every year. hehehe!

too much food lying about the house + nothing productive to do = eat!! x_x

status on akabane costume is on a stand still. yep, i'm just plain lazy to take my ass to a tailor. somebody drag me!!! :p yeah i'm so lazy i haven't even started on my assignments yet. this is what happens in the begining of every semester. you'll make a self-proclaimed oath that you'll be extra hardworking, start assignments early so that you don't have to rush and finish everything as fast as possible... but of course this never takes place!!

and just like my final year project which was suppose to take place in a time frame of 9 months, i crammed it and finished it in the last 2 weeks. good uh!!! but not good at all..... just makes you really, really ill!! and bleh~

still not presenting as yet... >_< when are those idiots gonna schedule me in???

Monday, October 20, 2003

this is bloody hillarious!! well to me it is >_<

i read the heading, saying 'sung to: one night in bangkok' [by chess] and i thought.. hey, why don't i check out the song.. sounds cool enough but the lyrics were obviously changed in the comic strip lar. and gosh... the song ain't too bad for an 80s dance-rap sorta fushion. give it a try, it's pretty interesting.

it's even funnier to listen to the song while reading the comic XD

however, must warn ya.. the begining is a bit unexpected. i thought i downloaded the wrong song or something but i guess it's suppose to be!
well, well... himi has a blog too!! ^^

my brain's still swimming. yeah... i almost walked into the banister of the stairs in college.... how embarassing would that have been? -_-;;

yesterday night was just plain suck. i was typing out a long email, one of those 100 questions thingy and was at number 80, chatting at the mirc and surfing i guess, when all of a sudden my the power tripped. yeah!!! lucky i wasn't doing anything important. it wasn't even raining and everything seemed okay so i went down, switched it back on and decided to turn on the pc again say good bye to the fellas i was chatting with complete what i was doing and go off to bed but noooo..... as soon as windows loaded the power switch tripped again!!

must've been overload on the usage or something i thought. but later it tripped again and told my parents. haha.. they thought tnb was doing something with the electricity! so as i decided to finally go to sleep... it started raining. gah!! i was tired, sleepy and had to wake up early the next morning. well, usually when it starts raining i have to close the windows in my room. yeah, half asleep, feeling for the damn windows and closing them carefully not to trigger the alarm.

i think i've survived days without 24hrs of sleep better than today, and what with boring lectures....

swimming, swimming... ho ho ho ho ho ho i like to swim~

-_-

Vampire: The Undying.

"And The Vampire was all that remained on the blood drowned creation. She attempted to regrow life from the dead. But as she was about to give the breath of life, she was consumed in the flame of The Phoenix and the cycle began again."

Some examples of the Vampire Form are Hades (Greek) and Isis (Egyptian). The Vampire is associated with the concept of death, the number 9, and the element of fire. Her sign is the eclipsed moon.

As a member of Form 9, you are a very realistic individual. You may be a little idealistic, but you are very grounded and down to earth. You realize that not everything lasts, but you savor every minute of the good times. While you may sometimes find yourself lonely, you have strong ties with people that will never be broken. Vampires are the best friends to have
because they are sensible.

Which Mythological Form Are You? brought to you by Quizilla

okay, so the word is out. man... do you know how wrong it is. akabane doing the neko haten???!!! just plain OOC. while i'm all black and white, suddenly there'll be a spalsh of bright colors. hmm.. i remember last time there being some pom-poms.

nooooooooo!!!! *takes out bloody sword and commits seppuku*

x_x
[ O_O ]

yeah, exactly. urm..... enervate, i don't what to say to you. how you managed to rope me into this. you should probably do sales!! quite convincing... either that or i'm just too nice :þ

don't know what i'm talking about? well, will let you know once i get word from himi. gahh!!! as it is there's so much excitement just thinking about going to CF and now added nervous-ness. hope i don't puke half-way!

i was watching a movie earlier called 'clue' on tv. and while watching, since i missed the begining, i was thinking "hey, isn't this movie something like that game... cluedo was it? with the who killed whom with what where?". and sure enough 1/2 an hour later it was. haha, was pretty funny. mr. green, mr. plum, col. mustard, mrs peacock..... etc.

went to mid valley yesterday to watch 'my boss's daughter'. it was quite funny, but after a while.. like most movies like these, it turned into a corn. after the movie a friend of mine and i roamed around, checking out shops, laughing at the java books at mph and then went for dinner. which i was treated for. haha... sushi!! XD XD

yeah, well since she finished presenting already so she belanja lar. next time i will when my presentation is over :) i also managed to get me white gloves. yeah, so cheap. went around a few shops and later realized that professor might have it, duh! so got it there. one more item added to my list of costume parts to get. all that is left is that black long coat. need to see a tailor and stuff. and also figure how the heck to make the bloody 'bloody sword' >_<

hmmmm...... i wonder what will happen if homura & seighart were mixed >_<

[ layout ]

well lookie here... something new and different. well, erm.... i have to admit, it sorta resembles enervate's own blog site. sorry! i didn't mean for it to look like that. i had the picture in mind a long time ago and planned for it be mostly white so... *twitches* eh... >_<

still in the midst of refining it though... most of it is done.. 'cept the backblog. erm, the piratish mood does not go with this theme :O)

and if i could, change the world. i would be the sunlight in your universe...

sometimes people change because it's unavoidable. it's not something they can control. people change as they grow. you would too just that you wouldn't realize it. even those around you constantly wouldn't either. you can tell yourself you won't change, but unconsciously everyone does. either for the better or worse that's another thing.

like how you aren't the naive girl 2 years ago [making us a little more... cynical?] or how you see yourself as more independent than of which you were before, or the fact you understand what life is really about and what it means to you. how you decide to embark on the journey towards your goals and what you would do to achieve it. changes are required to 'fit' certain perspectives... a difficult task but needed when it is called for.

changes occur most when we're growing up, going through the 'changing' phase from child/teenager to an adult. it is only once we're much older that changes rarely take place. by then, we've become comfortable of who we are and would like to stay that way. so, at the moment, it is a prime period where we're finding ourselves, as your friends may be. just that you don't like where it's going.

change is inevitable and hard for anyone to accept, but gradually we do... and whether we leave or continue to be with the ones we once cared for, is up to us.

it is tough but, that's the way life is. i know of a few who have gone through this vicious cycle and all i can say is either accept it and move along or try to make the person realize where they've gone wrong... which is easier said than done.

we can't always be the party to accomodate everyone... it is unfair of course because would they accomodate to your ways if you changed as well? there are two kinds of people. those who couldn't give a damn and just leave when they find a person as inconvenient. i use the word 'leave' here openly, but not intend it as exactly that meaning... if you get what i mean. what i'm getting at is like... they don't treat the 'change-ee' as they would before, ie being a loyal friend... but then again, should they?

and the other type is those who wince, sigh and accept. continue pretending that they still mean the world to them even though the ugly truth is they're merely being hypocrites. delusion themselves into thinking that their friends are still the same or will change back one day. it is a disheartening way to go... but then again, should they?

it is the same question posed on both sides, and we can only choose one [unless someone else has another formula, please do tell. i wanna know!]. million dollar question: what do we do when we in this sort of situation?

this is just one person's view so... don't murderlise me for what i have said. there are many other views on this topic so... go ahead and find out what the 'professionals' think!

hmm... i'm suddenly feeling all so 'philosophical'. has this got anything to do with mishima's book? ~_^

oh, and in case you're wondering, the first line/lyrics or even that song has kinda nothing to do with this. just that it played in my head while i was writing this :O)

[ thousand ]

fuh, 1000 visitors to my blog site already O_o. who woulda thought that was possible! and the prize goes too....

a person from france who searched for "buzzlip lyrics" using google.

hmmm... apparently, there were only 3 results for that. kinda weird finding such people. i mean hello, it's a blog so.. obviously if you're looking for downloads n stuff, it wouldn't be here?

read about 45 pages of confessions of a mask already. quite interesting i must say. sounds as though it's a biography, or maybe not. is it? -_^ well, i'll continue later.. perhaps finish the chapter.. but the chapters are quite long. that would mean another 55 pages to go. man i'm a slow reader. i took almost 2 hours just for 40+ pages, imagine what time i'll go to sleep if i do intend to read til there! well, i'm at the moment also researching some stuffs mentioned in the book. for instance a few fairytales which i've not read... just wanna get a gist of it to understand the story. also a few terms and specifically one art, st sebastian, mentioned. hmmm.... if you're read the book or know what it's about, i'm sure even you would be curious.

well, i would have to warn people though, it's not a book for everyone. some may be irked by the content or storyline. but i don't mind it. it's just getting a feel of being in someone else's shoes. and i sorta relate to the 'boy' telling the story.. just some parts lar of course. which are most relevant! :)

Friday, October 10, 2003

just came back from klcc, and bought me self 'the confessions of a mask' by yukio mishima. well, lemme start the story... first went to buy tickets for lxg. had 1/2hr to spare so while my brothers went to have lunch, i went to kinokuniya -- the japanese bookstore on level 2. first i searched for zerosum but takde, then went to check the mangas section in case they already had it but also didn't have. i was in the mood to spend some money, buy something because it's actually been a long while since i indulged in anything for myself.

so, i ordered WA vol 3. volume 2 is there if anyone is interested! watched the movie, and then went to kino -- 4th floor where english books are. checked out yukio mishima's books and found they had quite a number of titles availabe including 'forbidden colors' and the one i bought. at first when i went to the information counter, they told me 'confessions' was not available. heh.. silly people. it was right there on the bookshelf!

burnt a small hole in my wallet but hey, i haven't been spending much recently since i was practically home bound so, it's quite okay once in a while to splurge :) will read the book later.. looks interesting, something different than what i would normally read. weird but then again, typical stuffs easily bore me!
added a tagboard. haha.. well, actually i just took the one from my "website" and put it here since it's being quite useless over there. sorta squished it to fit into that lil space. looks weird huh! well, must make mental note to self to make "links" area wider in the next layout.... which don't ask me when it will turn out. well, actually i got the pictures lar that i wanna use. sorta angsty, GB style. hahaha, but layout wise... erm, was planning on something different, which i haven't decided yet!

i still can't register with RO. bloody thing is down! oh well...

you are "shonen". all male. all the time. (if you're a girl and you got this i suggest you get some estrogen).

What type of manga are you? brought to you by Quizilla.

i did this the last time and got Mecha manga. well, i think this suits better.. since i don't really like mecha stuffs, except for vandread. i absolutely hated transformers!! well, my brother liked it so i had to watch it with him and what i did last time was change channels when the "baddies" came on. you know, they had that logo appear of whether it was good or bad and then they'll show their part? yeah, i changed the channel whenever the bad guy's logo appeared. hehe!

and what? i need more estrogen? oh puh-leaze!

i re-did the How seme are you? quiz again and for the third time, i got 80%. hahahaha!! what are the odds?!

planning to go to klcc tmr. perhaps meet with my brother after his class or something. wanna check out what's knew in kino as well. i haven't been there since april! hopefully vol 3 of wild adapter is out. haha! that would be a miracle. otherwise i'll just order lar. and must check if there's any zero-sum mags.... left!

[ ..... ]

yeah, exactly! college has been fun recently. why is that? cause no fyp to worry about, subjects are so care-free and it's just the first week. i've been lazing about the house doing nothing. not even going anywhere at all!! not even watched movie. can you believe that? normally the first thing i'd do once exams or like when a semester is over, i'd celebrate to go do something. basically go out of the house.

now, just so lazy. i think it's the wonderfully sleepy weather. rain, cool, just makes you go bleh. even the sound of going to kino doesn't excite me. hmmm..... maybe when enervate tells me WA03 is out then i would be lar. hehehe!

i was planning on doing a new layout n all... nothing. planing to get domain name too... zilch. i should start thinking about getting the costume made as well, but lazy lar. i should get the catalogue as well, but.. you know what lar!

i wanna go visit mv, tesco, ikea, time square [maybe when/if the crowd dies down]. haven't been to these places before ['cept mv lar]. my kaki-lepak all not here. haha! well, pmr is over tmr so.. i'll be less bounded as well i guess. basically need to have myself available til everything is over.

that includes a certain event this saturday. just came back from a meeting, regarding it. so many things to do, so few people. it's always the problem, which pisses me off but what can i do. i'm not the only one. i've been thinking of just quiting, "cold turkey", resign my so-called post and say, "there.... if you can find more people, i might consider helping out again." it's so sickening!! and don't even get me started with WHY these idiots couldn't be bothered to help out. bunch of spoilt brats! the good we get for doing other people a deed.

i'm so uninspired, i can't think jack shit. muses gone to hell, god knows how i'm gonna think up of a project for my design usable interface [dui] subject. it is a fun subject i guess, since we only need to focus on the interface, which always is the fun part, and don't have to bother with the back-end. dui is about evaluating interfaces available. like how some handphones have crap for buttons or some web sites are so complicated you want to scream at the web-designer. stuffs like that. yeah, purpose of this is so that we understand what users want and all that nonsense lar. it's good i suppose! since i like this kinda stuff.

maybe i've been sleeping to much. hmm.... am trying to get my schedule back to normal. ie, sleeping at the right time and not waking up just in time for lunch. i actually felt guilty for waking up late. imagine that! what have my parents done to me!!! o_O

am trying to play RO but just when i wanted to register, the bloody section of the site had to undergo maintenance. just found out two of my classmates play RO as well, and they were kinda bugging to play as well. one person is quite advanced. as in, he started playing RO since last year and have practically tried out all the posts and stuff. hehe, good person to get tips from :)

*goes back to a boring routine* x_x

You're Most Like The Season Spring ...

Fresh faced, with a young outlook on life - you smile at the world and expect it to smile back at you. You're mostly a bubbly, fun - innocent person. Described as cute possibly. However, you're a little naive about things and tend to
be a little too trustworthy. As the first season, It makes you the youngest - and so most immature - but people are inclined to look out for and protect you.

Well done... You're the most fun of the seasons :)
?? Which Season Are You ?? brought to you by Quizilla

well, i do like spring ;)
yar, me got nothing to blog so quizzes it shall be! tmr starting 3rd semester tho. well, some holiday it has been. barely even 5 days. must remember to pick up hard-bounded doc on tuesday before going to college! and my muse is still on holiday. sorry enervate, update is gonna be sloooooow.

today wasn't much productive at all.... except for a certain layout i did for a certain blog. i'm quite proud of myself. well, nothing great with the layout lar but the pic and the color. so not me. :p

but it's nice, and fresh... that's for you, and how i think of you!! :) as autumn, all warm n.... err, now now people, dun get X-rated thoughts here.

and sanzo, yeah... i was checking out one of those sites where someone put up screen caps for the first episode. it's exactly like in the manga. and sanzo looks.... *whimpers* not as garang as before. heh! and hakkai looks weird with both eyes, takes a while getting used to i guess. but overall the graphics is nice :)

ah.. that's all.. going back to the forum's very own chat channel at mirc :þ

incase anyone is interested, i got this info off their official site... will, tv-tokyo lar.
opening theme: wild rock [buzzlip]

[ freeeeeeeeeee~ as a bird... ]

it's the next best thing to be, free as a bird.

taken from the song free as a bird by the beetles. yeap, one of the only songs i can play fully on the piano. it's kinda sad though. you sit for so many exams and once you finish, you should be a pro. but i suck and haven't touched the black [not white] elephant for at least 5 months. just sitting there showing off it's grandness... and my dad's asking me if we should sell it. i'm like "nooo....!!". i mean, it has some sentimental value. XD was just listening to maksim, man he's excellent. he plays the piano really well.

fuh. it's already october. 9 months passed by really fast. hehe. too fast. but it's good that it's over. i don't have to face that darn project anymore. except for the presentation. i hope it turns out well and the amount i did is enough. i know it's not about quantity, but still. my accessor is a bit of a bitch. and the sort who claims that she knows it's not about quantity, but quality, still dares to give me an average mark for my mid point. i guess i'm still a bit miffed with that fact, even though that 12/20 marks only contributes a bare 5% out of the entire thing :p

okies, i had a point to blog here, and it was to rant about the axn event and everything else under the sky.

the axn event was... tiring but a lot of fun, as well as disappointing. here's how it all began. as soon as i reached mv, i gave a call to a friend of mine whom i was suppose to meet there. haven't seen him in more than a year since the time he left for UK. also another anime otaku, decided it was the best reason to meet. still the same. haha! 'cept for a lil accent.

then we waited for the opening of the event. there were tonnes of people. before opening the shutters that lead to the hall, the mc was counting down. haha... of course the crowed joined it. and as the shutters opened, they played one of the songs from rurouni kenshin. it was all good until the squishing began and we realized later the hall was a bit the small.

was looking for people from the forum, and since i knew himi was going as sanzo, decided to look out for a monk-looking cosplayer. first person i saw was fenix. she looks sorta.... scary. haha... sorry yeah, that was my impression at first. i was afraid of her. hahahaha! imagine, being intimidate by someone who was 6 years younger than you O_o; but because she looked a little busy and didn't quite know who i was or what to expect for me to look like, i went to himi first. she was the only other person i knew looked like what. all based on the pics from cosmas and well, the sanzo costume was another give away!

tapped on her shoulder... waited for her to look at me, then asked, "hey, can guess who i am?". hahaha... then she started screaming, "labrynth!!" over and over again... that really was quite embarrassing since everyone around there was looking at a sanzo screaming. reason why she knows who i was is 'cause i told her i was well... not who she thinks i might be. it shocked her at first to learn that i wasn't chinese or even malay. the only other person who knew was enervate, and i didn't know what she looked like. then after getting whacked by her paper fan, a girl turns to me and says, "hey.. do you know how i am???!!!" i was so blur. i didn't have an idea at all. so obviously i said no and it was actually enervate. sheesh..!! and she told me she was only gonna be there much later since her graduation was finishing around 1pm. so that was an unexpected surprise for me :). you clown! gave me such a shock :þ. btw fenix, now you understand by what himi meant by "the second shock" ? :)

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!... just a sudden burst of happiness :O)

back to where i was... it was so nice to see everyone. yes it was. i think fenix asked me to take a pic but then there were so many complications that i forgot in the end. the joys of meeting people. the moments happened quickly and suddenly we were all separated.

so my friend [KY] and i decided to go look for other cosplayers and the stage area since something was suppose to happen at that time. got there and it was a samurai show. wait, let me rephrase. a lame samurai show. i was looking forward to some action bit of them fighting against each other but they looked like they were doing taichi. sheesh man, what the hell was that?? so we left and decided to check out graffiti wall. that was quite cool. saw an art drawn by keitsu. that was the only one i recognized. everyone else i didn't know who. the booths were pretty unsatisfying as well. the only nice one was the one selling some art. they were really nice. i took some pictures of them.

then it was the cosplaying event so we rushed back to the stage area, which was by then packed! but we managed to squeeze our way through and stand near the drawing competition. it was just about to start. saw fenix there, and took a pic of her getting all set to draw :) so when the cosplay competition started, everyone gathered closer to the stage and the only spot i could stand and get a view of the stage was near this big ass speaker. yeah, my whole body and camera was vibrating at the sounds. and my right ear... argh.. it was so loud i thought i was gonna burst my ear drum.

after that event, everyone was dispersing so we decided to check out the other booths we missed and the showcase thingy in the center. was quite cool. i liked the 'my neighbor totoro' miniature "dolls" [i can't think of the right word for it at the moment]. so basically were just roaming around and around waiting for something else to happen. it was getting boring. then we waited around the drawing competition area to check out how everyone was doing.

next, met up with enervate and her friend [another writer] nadia. it was so cool to meet another writer and boy was she one otaku. she practically watched and owned everything anime under the sky. she even brought a picture to show her collection ^_^;

so while KY [another big anime otaku compared to me] talked to her, i chatted with enervate. it was so nice to finally meet you, and your family! :) and the first thing i noticed [or reminded myself to notice] was your hair. it's so gorgeous, i'm jealous!! and you're gonna cut it... ;_; well, at least i got to see it first.

then decided to leave the place entirely. it was just about 2pm by then. we went off to the arcade to see himi do the parapara. hahaha.. man, she was good! after that, we left to go have lunch. was too hungry by then. then [i'm running out of other words besides 'then'], met with enervate again, chit-chatted a bit more, passed me some cdrs to burn for her the gluhen series [which i haven't the time as yet] and took one last picture [which is actually the 2nd last picture in the "axn af" link].

it was tiring, but my day of course didn't end there. still had to go home to do my documentation, which is already done. mwahahahahaha!! yeah, my days after that we basically in front of the pc writing [as you can see in the previous posts]. i was practically online the entire day the last few days and yesterday took the cake lar. online 21 hours non-stop @_@. luckily i didn't go blind :)

but the other side effects were.... neck ache, back ache, shoulder ache [all still very stiff] and other weird things going on in the inside which i can't even describe. and every time i tried to have a meal, i felt nauseated so ended-up snacking when i felt the need to. best part was my mom would come by and hand me either a multi-vitamin or vitamin c tablet. lol!

well, i'm quite happy now. the biggest task of my life is over. the final of all final projects in my studying life [until that is when i continue to do my masters] is over. *evil laughter*.

have a long list of things to do. so many, many things i planned along those last 9 months. incentives lar for me to go on otherwise i have nothing to look forward to. but first, i must recover to 100%. then format pc, install games... and proceed with revamping a certain ugly site. bleh. and this one too. planned to do a new layout. something totally different for a new beginning and to celebrate an ending.

before i leave, go download songs by queen. old, but good. [esp killer queen & bohemian rhapsody]. the songs are classic and lyrics darn funny!!

wheeeee~

noooooo.....!!!!!

what kinda ending was that?? what kind of... gah! they better be having more episodes for get backers in the future. such disappointment! <_<

36 hours. yep, that's exactly how long i've been up. i think i should sleep... but i don't want to yet. it's like so strange to sleep early after weeks of sleeping at 2-3am. tmr will be a sleep-full day :)

all i'm gonna do is sleeeep~
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

that's me bouncing :)
5 more sections to go....

i'm hungry, i'm tired and i don't think i can sleep tonight X__X
it'll officially ALL be over in exactly 12 hours. but of course my intentions are to hand in the project much before that. don't wanna take risks!

Monday, September 29, 2003

9pm already!!! argghh.....

25% left to go. what a sucky day. what a sucky day indeed. the funny thing was, when i didn't need to refine my program i actually did it and what i couldn't get working last time, sorta works now. oh the irony!

well, still have about 10 more sections to do. *_*

have to print also, bind... burn cd.. i want this to be over!!!

thanks enervate :O)
24 hours left to go...

that means, i have to finish one section in one hour. still have 40% left of the documentation to go *_*
i ter-overslept. was suppose to wake up at 8am and i didn't hear my alarm ring. arghh... 4 precious hours gone.
35 1/2 hours to go...

Sunday, September 28, 2003

tired... i don't want to do anymore work!!

almost had a fight with my brother about the pc. wish i didn't have to share. damnit. some people just don't understand the importance of one's project work. to him, just because i've been on the pc for god knows how many hours means it's long and it's his turn. hello???? wait lar til that idiot gets project and have to suffer. you think what? i like this shit? of course not!

stupid laptop also another one. but i need to be online because while writing i have to refer to online resources. if i didn't have to, then i don't really care if he uses the pc or not. it's only documentation. whatever that's in my brain and in my program and whatever that took place in the last 9 months needs to be documented.

i had a plan & list of things to write for my documentation. and as usual, i'll most probably chuck out the extras because i won't have time to finish them all. have to do a lot more today. still a lot left. thank god there's tmr too... have to finish everything by 2pm on tuesday. that includes printing, binding, burning the stuffs onto the cd...

8pm already. 7 more hours to sleep time. and 12 hours to go back to documentation time!! can't wait til this is over...
okay, uploaded the pics already... they're available here or check the "stuffs" bit where the links are.

one advice though... never take pictures when you've not had proper sleep in the last few weeks. urgh.. i hate the pics of me in it. looking like a bloody panda. @_@

Saturday, September 27, 2003

tired..... i'm just too tired.

will blog about the axn anime fextival tmr when i'm a little more awake. add some pictures which i took as well. but i have to say, i had a great deal of fun today. got too meet a whole bunch of people, got shocked out of my life because well, after talking and knowing a person you haven't met for months and your mind sorta creates it's very own image of the supposed person and when you actually see the person you just... go into shock. yeah, all i could say was... "oh my god!!!" and then words failed me.

hahaha.. was refering to you lar... who else? :p everyone else looked pretty much the same, from the pics taken during cosmas of course.

at the moment, i'm partially deaf [due to the huge speaker which was just a few inches away from my right ear] and having a [well, almost there] sore throat. practically shouting on top of my lungs :)

so fun...

going back to do more work... a bit [a lot more like it] left behind!

[ utter madness ]

C: i hate writing in 3rd person form. i want to use I I I I I I I!! I Hate FYP!!
labrynth: you think i LURVE it?
C: maybe :P
labrynth: belah lar you... as if!!!
C: hahaha! i purposely said that coz i am mad already
labrynth: i know... i was thinking of becoming buzz lightyear and flying around saying "to infinity and beyond!"
C: how? i want to use I. i dunno how to write without I
labrynth: say lar.. "according to the research done...."
C: i want to say i got a free copy of codewarrior
labrynth: say, "the author of this documentation got a free copy of codewarrior because after sticking to the 3rd person rule, she now speaks in such a way that where instead of saying a simple 'hi' she will say, 'C says hi' and due to her utter madness when she called the codewarrior people, they took pity on her and decided that in hope she would turn back to normal, they gave her a free copy. C says she is very happy. yeah, she says so!".
C: :))) C wants to sleep and play and eat and sleep and watch tv and play and sleep.
labrynth: according to labrynth (2003), it is mentioned that by the end of 4 days, most students in the intake of GF0321 will have brains, like the intake's numbers, decreased.. hence turning them into vegetables. the advantage of this however, there'll be more vegetables for those in need to eat, and less students coming out that year after their degree, so most job oppurtunities would indeed open up during that time (labrynth et. al, 2003)

i wonder if i'll be sane enough for tmr?!
[ must. work. hard ]

yeah, lots-o documentation left to do. actually TONNES! if i don't finish a certain amount by today, i'll have to leave much earlier from the axn af tmr.

tmr will be a day of.... meeting up and trading cds. lol! was just making a deal with a friend of mine. said he'll give me serial experiment lain (13 episodes) for my weiss kreuz gluhen (13 episode). nice trade eh? :) must remember to bring some of my other dvds/vcds as well. all in spreading the love for anime. yes, it's a peaceful animated world we live it. i'm talking nonsense again, aren't i?! o_O

want a slow & really jiwang hati guitar instrumental song? check out caravan from the chocolat ost. yeah, johnny depp is one of the guitarist. now, to find someone my own age who's just like him...

another 1/2 an hr til GB49 finishes downloading (",)V

[ finally ]

yes, me is finally happy. happy because i met my supervisor... which i before that i had to go through hell first. and i was thinking, anything else bad gonna be happening today?

here's how it started.

just as i was about to sleep this morning... that would be around 1, :þ, i suddenly wondered if whether i had missed the meeting with my supervisor o_O. but then i remembered there was a blog entry yesterday about me telling my supervisor calling. this is what happens when someone calls me up before i wake up, i speak incoherently on the phone [i actually asked my supervisor whether today was thursday on wednesday -_-;] and with a mind that's still sleeping... i got some facts mixed up. so before i sleeping, i actually thought that it was already friday and i missed the meeting, but remembered that it was wednesday because i missed csi. yeah, my days are kept track by which show are being showed on tv for that day!

then woke up, blah blah blah, got ready to go to college to meet him except i went to the wrong campus. yeah, so stupid right! i thought he was gonna be in town but actually he went to the other campus. the other campus is the one i study at, the branch in town i've never been. so after going in there so obviously like i'm new or something, carrying my laptop bag like some dungu and not being able to find him, i remember he'd called my hp so i scrolled for recent received calls and called him. that's when i found out he was in the other campus. and that one is quite far so luckily he told me he was free today so i could meet him anytime.

i rushed home, got my car and drove to college, the other one. all the while i was thinking, though i thought to myself i shouldn't be thinking such things, hope something ELSE doesn't get in my way and stop me from meeting him. saw how many obstacles were in my path already? so i reached there safely all met him and came home happy :)

he saw the system and was quite happy with it.. i asked him if he can understand it, he said yes. because that is the most important thing for later when i present it to my accessor. he'll be able to help me out if anything goes wrong, sorta like be my support. i told him about some minor bugs he said as long as it's not fatal, it's okay... like the button which kept adding action listeners, he said that one no need to worry.

also the jxta... which i couldn't connect to. he said if on the day of presentation it was still down, then i do what i did like today. set up my laptop to show two programs running n all that stuff. that reminds me, i gotta do the installation guide. bleh! no all is left is my documentation. gotta write about 100 pages in the next 5 days. 20 pages a day. minus one for the axn festival... my fingers are so gonna be dead!

okies... going to start my brain engines to work. til then, adios!
