hehe.. bbq was quite fun. i think most of those who went had detailed reports so no point me repeating the same stories. just the we had fun, not much to eat since it was more of a nuisance, though i think the banana & chocolate was a success. second in place was mashmallows and chocolate XD i think anything in chocolate was goode!

discussed about anime (duh), cosplaying (duh x2) and... some weird characters (not anime XD). too bad i don't have my digital camera, else i'd taken some pics too to post up or show my non-anime friends what a whacked bunch they are XD (joking :p)

got wet in the rain just now after washing my hair yesterday!!! >_> pictures WILL BE TAKEN TMR no matter what. i dun care. i just have to bloody hell do it already -_-. also reformated my laptop earlier.. setting up to do my hacking stuff. install those junk and well, practice for the exam. familiarize myself with the programs since most of the questions are about the tools thought it shouldn't be. weird ppl.

i still haven't finalized my resume, haven't sent anything out. a time waster, i am. well, i have reasons too... only for the last couple of days but tmr onwards.. no more gun bound, no more tv... (yeah rite!)

almost forgot about the mcc bbq this saturday. i hope i didn't plan anything on that day or some people are gonna kill me ^^;; good thing it's at night so i dun have to worry about the picture. yeah, gotta take that by saturday. am already getting a RM30 cut from my deposit -_-""

just when you think hacking is fun, you realize how much in danger your own pc is whenever you logon, check your mail, post an entry in yer blog... XD

well, lucky for me i've learnt a lot of tools, some hacking.. some prevention, so i use them to check what my pc's vulnerabilities are and how to overcome it. cool uh! :) i've even learnt how to create a virus. it's soooooooo easy. lol!! the hackers of yesterday have done all the hard work and now we newbies just have to click a few things and tada! a virus is born.

on our last day, we had a topic called virus. so we created one, camouflaged it and tried to send it to each other thru mail. a test to see if yahoo and hotmail could detect 'em and guess what. they can! so most people are kinda safe. :)

having spent many many hours in the air conditioned room.. and since my lecturer had a cold when we first started our course, he passed it on to me -_-;;. just a few sniffles, a slight fever, but i still managed to go to the supermarket, do some shopping. come back home and make dinner. well, not the heavy stuff lar. my maid did the frying :P

my mom had gone to mallacca today with my aunts just for a day trip and they were coming back so had to prepare some bites since they're all coming over to have dinner. infact, some of them are actually down stairs at the moment (i'm upstairs.. that's where the pc is) and my stomach is growling XD

i want food!!!! hehehe. i hear some frying going on. wonder who's cooking what.

i picked up my graduation pictures yesterday. man it sucks. even the group picture.. i had this girl who is well, short, and her mortar kept hitting my face and guess what. in the picture, her mortar is covering my face. just a bit lar but it looks so odd from everyone else. urgh -_-

had fun in college today. things are a bit more friendly with the 2 other guys in my class. one, a student gonna start his degree soon, and another an older guy who's working in lumut. quite the cool. we got to hack into each other's pc and play with the settings. like open & close the cd-rom, disable the mouse, log-off the user.. hehehe.. quite fun :p

and... what with everyone's knowledge about sniffing and scanning, stupid me went and check my mail and they found out my password :p quite a cool tool, but too bad it doesn't work on my pc. just on networks. bah! now we're all so very careful. hehehe!

we played s'more with knoppix, and i tried surfing with mozilla. it's not bad. very roundish... xp-like. big too ^^; but can't run too many programs at the same time. major lag i tell you. maybe also cause those pcs are only equipped with 128 ram.

tmr's gonna be another long day. our class was extended for an hour.. and so will be for tmr ><. i know it's just sitting in front of the pc.. but i think even that can be tiring since we have to be there by 8.30 @_@

don't really care if i got the words right so, whatever. 2 days down and... 3 more to go. we've only completed 4 1/2 chapters and there's 21 chapters O_o. our lecturer is a psycho dude man. well, he is sane but... how's he gonna be finishing 16 chapters in 3 days?

i've been learning a whole loada stuff. just covered the steps taken to hack.. like the process/methodology. and today we tried cracking the password of one of the dummy pcs. quite the cool. learnt a bunch of new tools. some of which i'm in love with. the course comes with a lot of materials, which includes two cds. one has lab files and hacking tools (and viruses) which we'll be using during the class and another cd which has knoppix. an easy to install version of linux. something like that lar. linux, admittedly, looks kinda nice :)

okay, so the purpose of the course is not to teach me to become some notorious cracker, but to find out how it's done and what are the counter measures. dun blame me for the big words... it's all i'm hearing every other hour :P i also now know how to protect my pc a little better. planning to install a firewall soon (yeah, i'm firewalless so sue me) and try out some of the tools because at college a lot of things a blocked. can't even PING! ><

and in all of the most ironic things in the world.... and coincidental, one of my brothers went and install some crap shit application which had tonnes of adware spyware! i can't believe it. i just leave the pc for TWO freakin days and this is what they do. they're hazardous. omg, i'm gonna kill him later. there was so many data miners, trackers.. and even one uh.... hijack something. can't remember the name. well that's is suppose to help a hacker hijack into one of my session and do bad stuffs. and before this, even without the knowledge i've been receiving the last 2 days, i've not encoutered such a thing yet.

ah.. that's it for today. loads of reading to do ><. exam is suppose to be 2 weeks after we finish.

time flies... real fast sometimes ^^;

gonna start my hacker course tmr for the next one week. it's from 9-5, hopefully it would be a fun-filled course :p well, how can hacking not be fun. hehehehe! there's also an exam on the last day i think.

and after that... i need to get a job quick. i tried doing my resume today. finished most of it, just unclear on certain parts. i really think the resumes we learnt how to do in school are nothing, well not quite, like the ones required in real life.

i feel like i know nuts about hacking and i'm taking this course... and it might be a waste >_< well, there's always a begining... for new born "white hat" hackers :P (just learnt that term from mw) ^^v

graduation is over. was tiring, considering i had to wear heels for almost 6 hours... T_T and a skirt.... >_>. good thing was that the gown was long & huge enuf to cover up most of everything *laughs*. it was really hot too!!! @_@

there was first a group (ie 400 ppl) photo taking session at around 12.30pm. i went first at 12 since i thought my parents all no need to come since they'll just be waiting there for nothing until the ceremony starts at 2pm. but i called them to come over quick because otherwise they would have to sit right at the back of the hall. need to register the tickets and get their seating.

so we took pics and stuff. not that many. just some... of my family and a couple of college mates. then the ceremony began. took 1 1/2 hrs for just the speach and certificate giving thing. got a really nice red tube with a piece of paper saying "congratulations. pls collect your certificate on the 21st of may" from the college. sheesh. after all that... it was food eating session XD

tonnes of food i tell you. oh yeah, did i forget to mention that the graduation was at renaissance? :p i've ordered the group photo & the photo which was taken when i went up on stage to collect my "certificate".

family is planning a party/dinner thing this weekend. have to discuss again and maybe push it to the following weekend. heh.. another purpose of the dinner is to open a wine bottle which we bought when i went to australia in 2001. yep, it has been /that/ long. because we searched everywhere in australia for that particular wine when we went there, i told my dad that we're gonna only open it after i graduate. lol.. just sitting in my dad's wine cooler, he can't wait to open it. hope it's all good ;)

i is back... and tanned... and almost burnt. well, actually i am. my face and shoulders are red ^^;

it was a fun long weekend... really nice. we had planned to go on saturday to ipoh and so on, but actually, we didn't. we were on our way. left the house at 8.30 to have breakfast first and then go to on our way. as soon as we took the sg buloh toll.. a few kilometers down the highway and we were stuck in a jam. on the highway. @_@

we'd exited at rawang since we thought it was pointless... going at 5km/h was not worth it. and my uncle told us it was jammed all the way to penang. what a clown. it wasn't jammed til there. my cousin who took a bus to penang said the jam was only until a rest area at rawang and it was free flowing. ish. so we headed back and stayed the rest of the day at home. luggage nicely roasting (int he afternoon) in the booth of course :p

so sunday we finally left on our way, again, at 9am and no jam this time. it was fine until we reached the penang bridge. there was a small accident and it took us 20 minutes just to cross it -_-;; lucky us, we were at the bridge around noon because in the newspaper the next day, one guy said he was stuck on the bridge for 1 1/2 hours and only crossed the bridge at 2pm ^^;;

we had lunch at one of the hawker stalls then headed for the hotel, since check-in time was only at 2pm. we got to the hotel, chucked our bags in our room (i shared the room with my 2 brothers & cousin). it was really nice since we had a balcony facing the pool, 2 twin beds plus we asked for another 2 single beds. so we were quite comfortable. only problem was those 3 guys... are well guys. so you cannot exclude a messy room, wet bathroom, tiny *ahem* hairs all over the bathroom.... funny smells @_@ ...do i need to go on?

after chucking our bags... actually, we really did unpack. usually i'd just leave my clothes in the suitcase and take whatever i want from it whenever i want to but the boys were like, "but we always unpack!" looking at me as though i'm the weird one ^^; so we did, and of course the next thing is to jump into our swimwear and rush for the water volleyball at 3.30pm :)

fun as usual. the best part about these activities, you get to meet ppl (mostly old fellas lar... but we did have a mix... right to those whose feet can't even touch the bottom of the pool. it's only a max of 1.5m), none of them were... well, you know. potentitally eye catching, or something along those lines ^^; actually, there were.. just 2... middle east ones who reminded me of joseph fiennes (*drools*) who have a penguin wife/gf each.. all covered no doubt. found it kinda ironic, what being at the beach where you see mostly fat red half-naked/barely clothed people sunbathing or swimming, and there they are all in black beneath the blistering sun -_-;;

we got outta the pool at about 6.30pm, had a shower then went for dinner across the hotel. there's a huge food court... which obsolutely sucks for penang standards. came back to the hotel, boys making clowns of themselves. farting at each other. what's the deal with guys and farting? O_o it was so bad (and really funny XD) to the point where you know what they'd do? wake up in the middle of the night when they feel the need to fart, go up to one of the boys (eg, my cousin gets up and goes to one of my brothers), wake him up and fart on his face. thank god they have /some/ respect for me. they didn't dare try. and of course, we must include the gaiety that goes on in the room.. my cousin has a flare of gaying every song there is in just seconds. quite hilarious some of them :P it's even funnier since he behaves all innocent and nice infront of the elders.. and behind closed doors, he's the naugtiest person around.

the next day, we all woke up at 8.45am to have breakfast. it's 2 free meals each room, and since there's 3 rooms, 4 of us plus my other cousin (girl) & uncle had breakfast. and as usual, before breakfast we're fighting for who's going into the bathroom first, and if the one who's gonna have a dump must go last or we'll all suffer the stench.. lol. if you haven't guessed by now, my family can be quite sick XP

after breakfast.. we lepaked a bit.. let the food digest.. and then we're in the pool again before noon, since there's water basketball. it was even more fun since there was more people. a lot of japanese around too. apparently it's their "golden week" or something. 3 days holidays, like us, so there was them, and us, and the orang "red-skinned" putihs.. hehe. ok ok, i'm not dissing them or anything. just that they remind me of defeathered chickens XD probably should refer those who sunbath as orang merah instead.

this time we spent a little more time in the pool. cause after water basket ball, we came out for about 2 hours and jumped back in for another 3 more when it was time for water volleyball. burnt my nose, cheeks... shoulders. okay, i admit i didn't put any "sun-block" but just cream. so it's my fault. but my brother looks the same as me and he put on sun-block so.... meh. at least i saved myself the torture of the smell :P

had dinner. blah blah. sat at the beach at night.... til about 1.30am when my dad called me and asked where were we (the kids basically). we're gone to the club for dinner, followed by karaoke, which was 'killing me softly with their words' (pun intented, assuming you even got it -_-) so we "kids" left to go back earlier.

the next morning was a replica of the previous morning. bathroom, breakfast, pool.. except this time i didn't go in since i didn't want to go thru the hassle of washing my hair from more chlorin, getting my already burnt skin charred and that it was only for the water basketball since we were checking out that afternoon. we stayed at my aunt's place that night. we mostly spent the day at her house. lazying about. doing nothing. we were quite tired with the swimming n all. we did go out for dinner, and that was it.

we left penang at 9am, stopped by at ipoh (since we didn't the first time around) for 2 hours and continued our journey back home. i also managed to finally finish reading "the poet" today on my way back. wow.. what a plot!! didn't think the last 50 pages or so would actually make a lot of difference. reached home at 2.30pm. home sweet home XD

and now, i shall plop onto the my most excellent bed, with my most excellent pillows and bloster and sleeeeeeeep~~ XD

i be gone for the next couple of days. this be the last time i go online until i come back either tuesday or wednesday T_T. must find ways to entertain and distract myself from the addiction to the feel of a keyboard under my fingers, my fav mp3s playing on my fav cute speakers, surfing and.... chatting ^^;

pictures, doubtful though i'll be using my old camera. yes the non-digital one :p

in the midst to burn a cd to be listened to on the way to ipoh (will be there on sat) then we'll head on over to penang on sunday. haven't been in ipoh for ages... hope it be fun ^^

the only thing i remember of ipoh is when i was younger and we were travelling to penang thru the old roads, ie there was no highway then... (yeah yeah, i'm old!) and we met in an accident. wasn't really that bad because we had our handy dandy, hardy sturdy proton saga. they don't make cars as good as they used to XD. we're still hesitating to sell it off!
