and so it has finally come to the point where i'm in need to release some bloggage baggage.


first off, penang was great. a nice and different environment/atmosphere.. away from all the work and other related crap. drank a lot (but no enuf to get drunk) *sheepish look* and did some stuff with my relatives which i could say for the first time i enjoyed doing with them.

also i managed to get some items for my cosplay costume ^__^ the wonders of penang! hehe.. though i still have a few more things left on my list to get. esp temporary blonde hair dye!!! *pulls hair out* oh wait, i need it for CF/Cosmas @_@; *glues it back on*

anyone have any ideas or suggestions or know of a dye which i could use and immediately remove it the next day??? *___*

yesterday was chaotic at irc. totall madness... uber fun madness XDXD we did a lot of 'kicking' and yeah... good times. i'm so blah to wanna really explain so, if you want.. there's the log [ here ] for all to read. a conversation which started from the time i entered at 11.40pm until i went to bed (at 4.50am).

so what was i doing up til 5am this morning?

come, lemme relate a story to you on how a huge mess started which led to me staying up late again last night where 12 hours later i hear even more bad news and have now made that huge mess bigger which then lead me to what i'm doing yes, that be blogging.


my boss is an asshole! somebody shove "thor" into him will ya. i wanna see him suffer even more than he already has, since he fell sick last week. first he gives up a tonne of work, comes back a few hours later and tells us that he has spoken to the clients and now we have to change AGAIN FOR THE NTH TIME ALREADY THIS WEEK because that's how they want it to be. You know, just thinking about this, and thinking of what i've learned during college about good project management, the 'dos' and 'donts' in software development.. i can see all the 'donts' being done and the 'dos' neglected.

my boss (let's call him AH from now on) is not a programmer, definitely not a project manager or even an analyst. he's just someone who owns the company, get's clients/jobs and hands them out and at the end of each month, pay his employees in the most stingy way possible. incase you're wondering, AH is an indian (although i know a few people who assumed he was chinese after hearing what he does because apparently chinese employers are more strict and pushy and i dunno what else lar).

so yeah, he expects us to finish up everything at HIS given deadline, which in most times is impossible. i mean hello, we're fresh graduates here. you want cheap labour, you get slower work done! and speaking of cheap labour, he thinks we're robots sometimes. for e.g. my friend/colleague (let's call her C) has a doctor's appointment on 3 of the working days next week and she need to take at least the morning off. AH gives C her half-day leave and then later tells her, "so those 3 days, make sure you work even longer then".

WHAT THE HELL?!!! she's taking LEAVE for a reason and yet he wants her to leave work later? WHAT'S THE FRICKIN' POINT ON TAKING LEAVE if he wants her to work late????!!! she might as well just come in late and go back late right? and save her the annual leaves she's taking.

and now for the story you've been waiting for. it has been said that one of the trio programmers working at LI is quitting his job by the end of the year, leaving the other two his part, which he has taken months to do and yet not finish, and other parts of his which he hasn't begun yet. according to our psychic, she has forseen an additional gravyard to be taken within the next few weeks. can all this change? or in a worse case scenario, should one of the females from the trio decide to quit as well, that the time of the burial in said graveyard would be sooner than expected? stay tuned for more news!
