ah.. 29th of feb. thought i might as well make an entry since the next time around would be in 4 years. a small fact about the leap year:
it seems, the leap year (occuring every four years.. d'uh) are every 4 years except for years ending in 00, in which case only if the year is divisible by 400. so, apparently the year 2000 wasn't a leap year O_o.
i wonder if that's true because i sure as hell didn't remember anything about this then.

You are a woman of worldly wisdom and experience. You are sensitive, protective (maybe even motherly), you are highly respected and praised. Your gentility and grace always shine through. You have a very beautiful moral nature that defines who you are. You are a woman others seek to befriend and they would never want to cross you.
Which Royalty Are You? Find out! By Nishi.
i is happy since dimmie-chan is drawing the dress!! ^^ can't wait to see how it turns out. hopefully it doesn't take 6 weeks *hinthint* :P

[ quiz ]
1. What Sound Are You?(now w/ pics) brought to you by Quizilla
Babie's laughter: Warm, kind and loving; a baby's laugh represents you. You are very innocent and enjoy the simple things in life. You are probably very good with children and have a positive, happy soul.
awwww.... =)
tried to work on a new layout today from my much abandoned website ^^; looks like it's gonna be another one of those boring seen-it-befores but what the hey. i dun even think i should put it up anymore since there's so many cool sites with whatever information you already need.
well, i have decided not to restrict it to only saiyuki but minekura's works instead =) see lar, so far i'm only inclined with wa/ec, saiyuki, gaiden, reload & stigma. the not so popular ones... well, i dun have the sources for it.

[ some updates ]
ever since my exams... everyday has been pretty... interesting? let's just say i didn't have enough time to feel bored =)
on thursday i went to 1 utama at 1.30pm (after making the blog entry before this) with colloquio and spent about 5 hours there. was suppose to look for a blouse for saturday. yes it was valentines day but it's not what you think :p but at the end of the day i didn't find anything at all. imagine that.
on friday i was suppose to go shopping again, but this time with my mom... but she was too busy getting prepared (the whole afternoon doing her nails, hair.. blah blah blah) for some posh wedding dinner so we only ended up going to mv for an hour to find shoes to match her clothes. the rest of the day... i bummed in the house :)
on saturday... now this i can tell you lots! first i get woken up by my college friend at 10am to go book some movie tickets for her. she was apparently already in mv and the queues for the movie ticket counters were reaching til mcds. at 10am!!! so i quickly went online only to find almost everything is booked up. even tried calling their hotline and same story lar. lucky she woke me up too, otherwise i would've been really late for a very important date! (cue white rabbit running around and alice chasing after him).
got ready blah, blah blah.. and was on my way to the lrt station. was going to klcc to meet dimmie-chan!!! but.... those damn ppl had to go block the roads for the tour de langkawi. so basically anyone who was in/out of bangsar was stuck. couldn't get in/out!! well, just for like 1/2 hr or so. but still... caused havoc jams everywhere. and what was not helping was mv around the corner and the mas fair. thank god, my meeting was else where which didn't include travelling by cars.
so i reached klcc and met her at kino. browsed, chatted, moved to the other kino, browsed, chatted and since the both of us were looking for blouses.... whoopdeedoo! however, it was quite disappointing after a while since i couldn't find anything. so after lunch we went for the "last minute" choices but also decided those weren't suitable. we saw this really nicely dressed-up mannequin and thought it was worthy to be taken a picture of. luckily i had my handy-dandynotebook camera with me =)
well, the dress on the left is the one we're more interested in! so DM, you better be drawing something now! :? well, just before 4pm (the time i allotted for me to go home) i managed to find something. whoohoo!! it was about time or i'd have to do some serious digging in my cupboard (or god forbid my mom's).
i think i chose the perfect time to go & come back from klcc because it looked as though the crowd was just about piling up. darn ticket machines at the lrt stations are absolutely USELESS!! so i advice people to go straight to the counter and buy the manual ticket.
got home, changed/dressed/blahblahblah and went over to colloquio's house (meeting point) and later around 8 or so we left for hartamas. once again i must say it was good timing. there were 6 of us, not quite a "valentines day" shindig you think i went for but more like a "tradition" since some of us have been doing this the last couple of years. for proof, see the oh-so obvious picture ^^; try and guess which is colloquio & me (those of you who've seen me before.. shush!).
however after dinner n stuff there was a MASSIVE jam. but we lucked out and managed to get out of the mess and took a shortcut back. after that... more jam... wanted to hangout for a while at bangsar but after finding a parking spot (which ended up being so near to where i live.. that's how far away we parked) it was time for me to go home.
sunday, nothing much except for a post celebration for my uncle's birthday during tea. it was a heavy tea which ended up being a dinner sort of thing and later i lazed at home.
and now for a couple of quizzes...
1. Which famous Shakespeare play are you?
...
2. what sort of weirdo are you?
...
muahahahaaha....hahahaahaha...muahahahaaha!!!
ahh.... after this i'm gonna go watch my much neglected anime. muahahahaahhaha!! ^^v

3. What kind of cat are you?

[ stars, sea, sand and bad singers ]
back~ with long ass bloggage. enjoy!
the beach was good. the whole experience was tiring (due to the fact i hardly had any sleep) but surprisingly i was awake til almost 4am. would've not slept if everyone else was tired, but once you decide to lay on the bed, covers up to yer chin, you just wanna stay like that =)
so, let's see. i last blogged yesterday at 1.10pm. continuing from that point.... after i was done with my work (and blog) i had a shower, couldn't resist not washing my hair even though we were going to the beach. y'know, salty air makes hair sticky? i grabbed my first meal of the day at 2.45pm. gobbled it all down, picked my friend up and headed to the binding shop first. made them holes on plain paper first since i was planning to print my stuffs at college and then went to colloquio/nal's house, meeting point. and were just in time as my other friend (the designated driver) reached her place moments after we did. chucked our stuffs in the booth and headed to... my college first. well, it's actually on the way to PD so it was alright. except for the fact that i took almost an hour there. i didn't realize it, but i was trying my best to hurry.
we planned to leave early since our parents were against us driving there at night. but by the time i was done in college (printed, manually binded & handed it in) it was 4.30pm. and so our journey (not to the west, duh!) finally began.
after 2 1/2 hours, including getting lost a couple of times, taking wrong routes, wrong turnings, missing the hotel and ended up having to drive back from one end, we finally reached the hotel. we didn't care much of the sunset i guess, since we practically missed it but did have dinner at a fairly nice restaurant by the sea. though, there were far too many insects flying about and i even found a tiny snail in my food. but that didn't stop me from continuing my dinner. i just thought of it as escargot :p
after that we did some more roaming around and stopped by a supermarket to get some drinks and munchies for the night. upon returning to the hotel, we saw some kids playing with fireworks and 2 of my friends had a brilliant idea to get some as well. so we stopped by that particular house to ask where they got it from and said it was unavailable at the moment but we could try those kedai runcits. we tried a few, asked a few more people (well, basically i just sat at the back counting backwards to keep my patience since i wasn't really interested in the fireworks) and finally ended up with some pop-pops and sparklers. it seems the police were quite strict this time of the year and my friends were even 'lectured' on the dangers of fireworks. heh!
we came back to the hotel room, kept our stuffs in the fridge and waited for another 2 friends to arrive. they were still in KL but managed to reach PD in 1/2 hour? i think. hehe. so finally we all went down to the beach. ahh, it was so ncie :p the starry starry sky, the sand was not too bad. there were other 'kids' at the beach, some having bonfire and playing with fireworks, because MU (multimedia uni) was having some seminar at the same hotel. found out some of them were one of my friend's ex-classmates. there was a group of guys who had a guitar (how typical) and they weresinging screaming at the beach. it wasn't so bad since they actually knew the words to some really old songs. lol!
we lit candles and stuck them into the sand as our source of light. it looked kinda pretty (will post pics of the trip later). then we had some drinks, "toasted", and hung out in the water. well, just ermm... calf deep? later my friend brought one of the bed covers to the beach and layed it on the sand. 3 of us lay there watching the sky (it was really nice) and it wasn't too chilly either. the other 3 went back to the hotel room. we stayed at the beach until about 3am before clearing up and leaving.
back in the hotel room (there's 3 rooms, 2 with 2 beds, 1 with one bed) and we had the mattress in the room with one bed dragged to one of the other rooms and everyone was basically camping on the beds. all 6 of us. talkinga bout ghost stories... hahahaha!! :p it wasn't that scary lar. but i did wonder about the room we were staying in. my friend brought a black light and was scanning the rooms for any blood and.... semen. yes, it did feel like we were in CSI. haha. was quite cool. we err... found some stuff. bleh >_< and at some parts of a wall there were splashes and drops of.. something and we were wondering if someone got murdered in that room O_o;;;
however, by the time it was 4am (i think) we all decided to go to sleep. woke up the next morning and checked out by 1pm and drove to an ostrich farm since some people wanted to see them. i was actually running short for time but hey, it was only 1 person so i had to deal with it. i had a class at 3.13pm so, that's why i was a bit on a rush. after all that getting lost the previous day, i was hoping that the same thing didn't happen again... and good thing it didn't. i managed to reach back home 5 minutes before my class, which was cool :)
and so the rest of the day i lazed at home (too tired to do anything else) because the next morning, we were leaving for maran (some 100+km away from kuantan) at 8am O_o""
and so that concludes the blog for Saturday, Jan 31 2003.
